Marija Baldacchino has been teaching Physics at Zejtun Girls' Secondary School (ex-Carlo Diacono), St Margaret College since September 1997.  The Panto bug soon caught up with her, and she joined as part of the backstage crew during Treasure Island (December 1997).  In Jack and the Beanstalk (December 1999), she went onstage as one of the Japanese couple.  She took the title role during Beauty and the Beast (December 2000) - we'll leave it up to you to decide which!

She is now our official Stage Manager in the prize day productions and pantos, as well as wardrobe mistress and costume designer.  In December 2010, she returned to the stage as the feisty fairy, making way for our new Stage Manager Keith Gatt.

She is presently on parental leave, enjoying her daughter Elena :)
