Alfred Portelli came to Zejtun Girls' Secondary School (ex-Carlo Diacono) as an Art teacher in September 1988.  Since then, he has always been involved Prizeday productions and Pantos.  His main involvement is in the artwork involved in the sets.  He has also always acted in the Pantomimes.  His latest role was Dame Satine Moulin Rouge in The Three Musketeers + Plus + Plus (December 2006).

Alfred also teaches art at the School of Art, Valletta.

2007-2008 was Alfred's last scholastic year at our school, since he reached retiring age.  He's still around however, and keeps turning up in times of dire need.
